Our youth hold the promise of a brighter future, and it’s our responsibility to nurture that potential. By creating the right environment, dedicating our time and resources with intention, and opening doors to opportunities, we lay the foundation for their success.

For nearly 30 years, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League (SAL) has been a beacon of hope, offering programs that have transformed lives and built strong bonds between our Sheriff’s deputies, local youth, and the communities we serve.

Through these efforts, we’ve reached nearly 80,000 young people in San Mateo County – helping to reduce juvenile delinquency and crime, increase graduation rates, improve career readiness, and provide caring adult role models for those who need them most.
